i. The Abbazzia di Sant'Antimo is just under an hour away from Hotel Excelsior by car. The journey spans winding country roads and may prove uncomfortable for those prone to travel sickness. For this reason, drivers have been given special instructions to drive slower than the average speed limit. You can expect to arrive at the Abbey roughly half an hour before the start of the ceremony.
ii. Taxis are not easily available in the Tuscan countryside and ride-hailing services such as Uber do not exist. If you miss the scheduled departure time, it may prove difficult to attend the ceremony. Please do not be late.

Please note
i. To respect your down/free time and limit the time you have to spend on a bus, buffers have not been built into departure or journey times. Drivers will therefore depart promptly at the scheduled departure times, without exception, to arrive at each event on schedule.
ii. Departure times are also fixed to account for the distance and terrain between each venue. However, for all events except the ceremony, it may be possible for alternative arrangements to be made if you miss the bus. Please contact our dedicated guest-transport coordinator (and beloved uncle of the bride), Keith Mendez at +41 795 542 830 should you require this service.
iii. Boarding commences 20 minutes before departure. Please plan to arrive at the start, not the end of boarding to ensure you have enough time to board and find a seat.
iv. Our website is not available via mobile, but a copy of this schedule will be provided to you upon check-in at the hotel. ​
